will definitely go again next time
Had a one night stay in a double room with sea view. Loved the comfy bed and the location was spot on, right by the Barbican. Room had a private bathroom, tea/coffee supplies, and a TV. Super clean with daily fresh linens. Perfect spot even above the busy pub. surprisingly quiet at night.

the bed was super comfy and the location was great with lovely views of the harbour. the staff were friendly and the room was clean with everything i needed for a night. also, being so close to the barbican area was a big plus for me.
the noise from the pub below was a bit annoying but i expect that when staying above a pub. the shower took a while to warm up, which was kinda frustrating.

The room was clean and super comfy, with a lovely view over the harbour. I liked that it felt spacious thanks to the high ceilings and big sash windows. The only hiccup was the noise from people outside. you could hear them when the windows were open but it wasn't too late or bothersome. The bathroom was nice too, but the saniflow system was a bit loud when flushing. Still, it had a good vibe overall!

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the seaside and visited local places for great food. The location is perfect and made our group trip super enjoyable. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were really friendly. Just a heads up, the wifi wasn't too strong, but not a dealbreaker.
One downside was that the toilet was a bit of a distance from our room, tucked away in a small space. It felt a little inconvenient.

Great Stay for Couples
The sea view from our Double Room was just breathtaking, you couldn't help but feel at peace. The staff made everything so easy for us, even helped with our luggage and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat.
It wasn't exactly affordable, but for what we got, it was pretty much worth it.

The view overlooking the sea from room 2 really enhances the experience, making it a good place to unwind. The location right near the quay is unbeatable, perfect for exploring the local area or grabbing a bite nearby.
The shower struggled to deliver consistent hot water, taking longer than expected to get warm, which can be a drag after a long day. The room could use more soundproofing. I noticed the noise from the street and late-night revelers came through distinctly. the décor felt somewhat dated and could benefit from a refresh to address the minor wear and tear noticeable in spots.
